SharePoint Administrator

Overview

The SharePoint Administrator will report directly to the SharePoint Application Team Lead and will focus on planning, supporting, installing, configuring, testing and implementing SharePoint 2013 portals, modifications of existing SharePoint solutions and improvements to the SharePoint 2013 environment.

Role Overview

  • To report directly to the SharePoint Application Team Lead and focus on planning, supporting, installing, configuring, testing and implementing SharePoint 2013 portals, modifications of existing SharePoint solutions and improvements to the SharePoint 2013 environment.
  • To work with the SharePoint Application Team delivering the objectives of the Extract Programme and subsequent support, management and administration of the new SharePoint 2013 platform.
  • To support the release of deliverables of an agreed quality standard in a timely and professional manner.
  • To work with both IT and stakeholders to develop efficient and effective SharePoint solutions to meet business requirements. 

Knowledge

  • Excellent demonstrable knowledge SharePoint 2013 administration
  • Excellent Knowledge of SharePoint Designer 2013
  • Some web application development experience using Visual Studio.Net, C#, ASP.NET, PowerShell Scripting, Framework 3.5 or higher, and the SharePoint object models.
  • Experience with Nintex - nice to have
  • Excellent Knowledge of Visual Studio 2013
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Visio, Project and Word.
  • Able to integrate supply branding front end code e.g. HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript into SharePoint.
