Our leading client who is a specialist software, technology and outsourcing consultancy requires a Service Delivery Consultant – Housing Management. The Service Delivery Consultant – Housing Management is required to take on an important role in the Housing Management Service Delivery Team working with several concurrent customers on the implementation of the Housing Management System.

The Service Delivery Consultant will support the team and develop a good working knowledge of the complete specific Housing product and plan a pivitol part in ensuring implementations are recognised for being delivered successfully, on time and addressing the needs and requirements of customers.

Main responsibilities are the following:

  • To provide onsite and remote consultancy services and support for customers during implementation, post live and on an ad-hoc basis,
  • To take ownership of each implementation and strive to make the implementation as successful as possible for the customer,
  • To carry out installation of the software in line with installation documentation,
  • Provide feedback to the Project Managers and customer Project Manager regarding issues arising during the implementation making recommendations for their resolution,
  • To work with colleagues in the Service Delivery Team to identify and develop new and innovative ways to approach consultancy tasks and the implementation approach in general and contribute to the product development roadmap and strategy including producing or providing input product specifications, highlighting suggested enhancements and product changes. 

Essential skills:

Good knowledge and previous experience of the Social Housing  Sector, Housing organisations and policies, strong commercial awareness, experience of creating professional documents for internal or external use, understanding of web applications, HTML, XML and Web Services, understanding of Prince2 or similar Project Management Methodologies and have a strong technical background.
