Pre Sales Solution Manager - UC

Our client who is a leading Managed Data Services organisation requires a Pre Sales Solutions Manager. The role of the Pre Sales Solutions Manager will be to provide Solution and Product commercial and technical support to all of the sales team for all large and complex deals. You will be responsible for developing the detailed commercial and technical aspects of a sale so that they ensure that they sell the customer the right solution for their needs.  

You will take existing qualified leads and bids from the sales team and liaise with the customer to close the deal, you will ensure that all aspects of the sale meet the customer’s needs and are deliverable, you will be the solution expert within the business for complex solution deals, create detailed technical and commercial designs for a solution, create opportunities to cross and up sell and liaise with suppliers to check pricing and availability.  

You will be seen as the product expert within sales and be able to take a qualified sale to closure, be able to competently and convincingly present the solution to the customer at all levels, maintain a thorough understanding of my clients portfolio and be able to match this to the customer needs, you will ensure that the customer is delighted by offering the best solution to their needs and promote customer confidence. 

Required skills, knowledge and experience: A deep knowledge of IPT and knowledge of and experience in the managed communications industry: voice/UC services (UC essential), data connectivity, co-location, hosting and cloud services, commercial and technical skills, excellent communication and listening skills, quick thinking, ability to work under pressure, ability to take the sale from initial identification to contract closure, self-motivated and target driven.
