SC – Cleared Mobile Device Management Engineer

Due to the urgent priority of this requirement a current and valid SC security clearance will be advantageous. 

Excellent opportunity for an experienced, MDM Engineer to join a Leading Consultancy to be working in either Hampshire. This will be a technical SME position, supporting and implementing mobile data solutions for our customers. This will include standard and bespoke solutions from evolving EMM products and services but with particular emphasis on email and applications. 

The MDM Engineer will be responsible for resolving technical problems. Working with Vendors, clients and internal teams to implement designed solution as part of project requests

This role requires an excellent communicator with a solid technical background, who can tailor their approach dependent on their audience and who can effectively manage and own relationships with customers, colleagues and partners. 

Skills and qualifications: 

  • Experienced in BES5, MaaS360, XenMobile, (BES12 nice to have)
  • Demonstrable experience of work with Mail Server – Exchange and Domino
  • Good understanding of certificates, Basic networking and Mobile devices.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Desirable : Certified in Airwatch and BES12 

Main responsibilities will involve

  • Full accountability for technical role in deliver whether it’s transactional or part of a larger project
  • Need to demonstrate a base knowledge and understanding of how mail servers work
  • Effective management of technical risks/issues – escalate as necessary to avoid impact on business and customer
  • Delivers a differentiated customer experience through high-value professional services
  • Provides support to team members who may be having technical issues during delivery engagements
  • Provides team members with information on problems encountered and resolution steps to assist in future engagements
  • Establishes close working relationships with other teams required to achieve success – e.g. Project Management, Pre-Sales
