Our leading client who is a Software, Technology and Outsourcing organisation requires a Senior Service Delivery Manager – SC Cleared. The Senior SDM will be responsible for the efficient and effective provision of all aspects of IT Service Delivery to a number of key customers. The role requires involvement from service transition through to BAU and commercial and contractual ownership thereafter. The role will involve matrix management contract change and delivery of SLA’s driving excellent Service Management practice throughout.


  • Responsible for day-to-day leadership and strategic development of the customer’s account within Cloud & Managed Services, working within the Operational Management Group and Operational Review forum to support and influence other operational stakeholders
  • To manage members of the Service Delivery Management team, providing leadership and direction acting as point of escalation and support
  • To develop best-practice systems, processes and methodologies ensuring effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining, and managing delivery against appropriate service level agreements (SLAs)
  • To effectively build and maintain strong and productive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders 

Skills required: 

  • ITIL Service Management
  • Demonstrate experience of working in an IT infrastructure / service management environment
  • Strong experience of both direct team management and matrix management
  • Experience of managing large clients and/or services
  • Commercial acumen and familiarity with contract management and contract change processes
  • Proven customer and relationship management skills
  • Experience with C level stakeholders
  • Knowledge and experience of the key technologies used in an outsourced IT environment
  • Prince2
  • Proven IT operational project management skills
  • Knowledge of Service Management Toolsets 

Due to the urgent priority of this requirement a valid SC security clearance will be advantageous
