Contract: Test Manager (International Travel – Spanish / Portuguese speaker)

We have a very exciting opportunity for a Spanish or Portuguese speaking Test Manager supporting multiple projects and design appropriate test strategies for a global organisation.

International Travel will be required; therefore we can only accept candidates who have EU / UK passports. 

The Test Manager provides SME and technical leadership for testing-related activities throughout the project lifecycle.  Acts as a mentor and coach, participates in team meetings, and creates assets for reuse. Communicates testing status, resolution of issues and management of test execution. 

Ensures effective test process improvement feedback occurs. Has in-depth knowledge of a broad range of testing techniques and methodologies. Provides mentoring and training to internal/external project teams on the appropriate use of Test Management tools, techniques and standards to produce and maintain testing and requirements traceability deliverables in accordance with company policies according to the approved systems development lifecycle. 

  • Proactively interact with internal and external teams to provide project-specific guidance, mentoring training and support on Testing tools, deliverables and processes 
  • To ensure that appropriate testing strategies are followed that reduce operational risks and minimise development costs 
  • To effectively manage own time between multiple assigned projects and maintenance release streams 
  • To provide guidance, training and support on the Quality Center (HP ALM) Tool to internal and external (vendor) teams globally 
  • To quality control test management processes and procedures on an ongoing basis, ensuring compliance to all applicable rules and financial services regulations and identifying opportunities for improvement 
  • To review Business Requirements and System Requirements documents to ensure that requirements are complete, consistent and testable. 
  • To ensure non Functional requirements on performance testing are captured and addressed in the testing phase. 
  • To review the Requirements Traceability to ensure full traceability from Business requirements through to Test Cases and Test Results 
  • To quality control processes and procedures on an ongoing basis, ensuring compliance with all applicable rules and regulations and identifying opportunities for improvement. 
  • To build and maintain a strong relationship with all stakeholders
