Release Manager (Shared Services) – Project Manager

We have a very exciting opportunity for Project Release Manager to provide release support for services such as Manage File Transfer, Enterprise Service Bus and Batch Schedular. Provides coordination for Shared Service application releases following  design and development process. Responsible for coordinating with IT application and other relevant stakeholders. 

  • Detailed knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools and the software development life cycles
  • ITIL certified, or equivalent experience
  • Outstanding communication skills in both written and spoken form
  • Outstanding customer relationship management skills
  • Ability to take a common sense and pragmatic approach, allowing for compromise to successfully achieve end goals
  • Ability to thoroughly understand the business issues surrounding enhancement requests
  • Ability to act as the team's primary interface between IT and the business applications teams and owners and to drive business value through the implementation of supporting application changes
  • Thorough understanding of project financials and budgeting
  • Ability to manage release issues and conflicts and deliver releases within budget and scope
  • Ability to deliver quality solutions to customers and develop process improvements where applicable
  • Ability to operate with the utmost integrity and consistently display a positive attitude to work and the various challenges encountered in a release environment
  • Superior problem solving skills
  • Strong technical project management experience
  • Experience managing large, multi-national and complex projects
  • Experience of managing diverse stakeholder relationships
  • Proven track record of successfully leading a complex delivery project
  • Experience of successfully working with outsourced partners on enterprise solutions
  • Solid appreciation of technologies and associated services
  • Able to operate with multi geographic teams and locations
  • Availability to travel internationally for business purposes
