Our leading client who is a Managed Data Services provider serving mid-market customers have an exciting role for a Sales Manager – Desk Based Sales. My client provides integrated managed data services linking people, places and clouds. They do this by leveraging their core capabilities and next generation assets to deliver a fully integrated range of cloud, datacentre, connectivity and voice services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Management of all Desk Based Sales teams

  • Building a world class team through hiring and performance management

  • Motivating and coaching the team to exceed all sales targets and objectives

  • Ensure that the team are fully trained

  • Monitoring all targets and objectives

  • Drive high quality sales planning, qualification, contact plans and all other sales objectives

  • To provide accurate Sales Forecasts and use of CRM 

Required skills and experience:

  • Experience of building and leading a successful desk sales team selling technology

  • Sales coach and excellent understanding of the sales process

  • Strong performance management focus

  • Good communicator and leader of people

  • Excellent sales and customer focused skills

  • Successful within a Telecommunications or Cloud Computing environment
