Our client, IMI Hydronic Engineering, is part of the IMI PLC group of companies.  IMI Hydronic Engineering is opening a JDE Competency Centre in Poland, between Krakow and Katowice.

Vacancy Description: 

Objectives of the position: Manage the development, implementation, integration, delivery and support of the ERP applications in support of the IMI Hydronic Engineering business.

Main tasks / Responsibilities:

  • Experience estimating JDE FRICE objects (Forms, Reports, Interfaces and Enhancements)
  • Knowledge and experience in full lifecycle JDE custom object development, Business functions etc
  • Experience working with off-shore development models
  • Experience with large scale JDE implementations
  • Review deliverables from offshore and perform QA check
  • 10 plus years in this space
  • Review integration diagrams , data mapping , review technical design documents for integration, conversion and reports, support onsite testing, trouble shooting , quality assurance,  
  • Experience with using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and emerging trends
  • Extensive knowledge of SDLC processes and methodologies

Communication & Teamwork: 

  • Travel to IMI Hydronic Engineering sites to provide training if/when needed.
  • Serve as liaison between plant and ERP team.
  • Approachable and enthusiastic.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Good organisational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Good judgment and problem solving ability & is capable of understanding the impact of decision making on both IMI Hydronic Engineering and their customers. 

Qualifications, skills & expertise:

  • Cross Functional experience will be very helpful
  • High energy and ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Strong problem solving skills for developing creative solutions and meeting project objectives are required.
  • Excellent analytical ability
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and be able to manage several projects and customers simultaneously; and the ability to interface with all levels of management.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead people, and to build partnership matrices upwards and downwards and across an organization.
